Democratic National Convention, New York: baseball cap, 1992

A variety of three-dimensional objects, oversize paper records, photographic materials and textiles make up Series IX, Artifacts, Textiles, Photographs, and Oversize Material. The series includes a large number of Long's nametags, mostly from events involving her association, speaking, or training work, and a collection of bumper stickers bearing messages related to health care or politics. A certificate, T-shirt, fan, and key chain relate to Long's participation in the Olympic Torch Relay. Among Long's souvenirs of being a delegate at the 1992 Democratic National Convention are passes and badges, signs and periodicals, and confetti. The photographs include 5 prints (mostly of unidentified events), unidentified negatives, and transparencies created for lectures.

The series is organized to correspond to Series I-VIII, and includes many objects that relate to events, organizations, and individuals documented by files in those series.
