Series II, Operational Records, 1935-1973, contains papers that record how Christopher and his associates went about the business of organizing, negotiating, administering, and lobbying. Particularly noteworthy are the records pertaining to Christopher's efforts among workers at the Tennessee Valley Authority and at plants associated with the production of atomic energy in Oak Ridge, Tennessee. Also included are records of the many conferences and conventions Christopher attended. The expense reports, 1938-1955, and the activity and expense reports, 1955-1972, provide an almost daily record of Christopher's movements.
