Scope and Content of the Series
Series III, Apprenticeship Program, contains correspondence primarily for the Savannah Electrical Joint Apprenticeship and Training Committee (Savannah Electrical JATC), minutes of the Examining Committee, and other documents (1954-1975) pertaining to the administration and management of the apprenticeship program of the IBEW Local 508. Apprentices' applications, agreements, and attendance records (1960-1974, 1980) as well as school and work requirements, tests, evaluations, and promotions (1973-1981) are included.
