Scope and Content of accession L1984-18
The Records, 1972, 1979-1984, of the law firm of Jacobs and Langford, consist of two cases tried before the National Labor Relations Board concerning the Foote & Davies Corporation of Atlanta, Georgia, and Local 2546 of the United Brotherhood of Carpenters, 1980-1983; one civil case between Paul Hampton and Laverne Bechtel, tried in the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Georgia, 1972; and a 1980 case involving Carlos W. Whaley heard by an internal judicatory committee of Carpenters Local 225, Atlanta, Georgia. Some union contracts and constitutions, and one pamphlet complete the collection.
