Scope and Content of the Series

Series III documents Mary Jo Duncanson's involvement in other national and local political organizations, all of which were proponents of the Equal Rights Amendment. Items from the Georgia Women's Political Caucus and the National Organization for Women form the bulk of the series. Of special note is the Southern Scholars on Women "A Fabric of our own Making" conference materials; selected papers from this conference were published in Feminist Visions: Towards a Transformation of Liberal Arts Curriculum, edited by Diane L. Fowlkes and Charlotte S. McClure.
