Equal Rights Amendment correspondence, undated
Scope and Content of the Series
This series documents Mary Jo Duncanson's interest and involvement in the Equal Rights Amendment movement in Georgia through newspaper clippings, correspondence, event announcements, and meeting notes and is arranged alphabetically by subject matter. This series also consists of information on the history and organization of ERA Georgia, Inc., including the statewide network structure. The "Jessie Moinuddin" folders at the end of the series were donated as part of this collection but appear to have originated with Jessie Moinuddin, ERA Georgia, Inc. Network Area I Coordinator. The "Jessie Moinuddin" folders hold Network Area I activity reports, correspondence with county coordinators, personal notes, newspaper clippings, and meeting notes. To respect the original order of the "Jessie Moinuddin" materials, these items have been kept together and arranged chronologically. The final folder in this series contains a speech by Cathey Steinberg presented to the American Association of University Women on September 15, 1979 addressing women's rights and the Equal Rights Amendment.
