Series III consists of correspondence, news clippings, reports, and a variety of other printed information sources pertaining to corporate entities, issues, political campaigns, conferences, persons, and others. Some of these subjects are the Carolina Skills Advancement Center, the Democratic Party, the J.P. Stevens Company, many aspects of government in North Carolina, and issues such as education, aging, the Equal Rights Amendment (ERA), the environment, safety and health, insurance, housing, labor law reform, public employees, women workers, youth, voter registration, the textile industry, taxes, labor education, right-to-work laws, and many others. The entries in this series are arranged alphabetically.
