The Records, 1949-1976, of the Textile Workers Union of America, Northwest Georgia Joint Board, consist of correspondence, financial statements, grievance and arbitration cases, contracts, and photographs. The Records pertain to TWUA Locals 689 and 789 in the Rome, Georgia, area, both of which went defunct in the late 1970's. Officials in both locals corresponded with TWUA presidents Emil Rieve and William Pollock, TWUA Political Action Committee Director Al Barkan, with TWUA Georgia Director H.D.
