Scope and Content of the Subseries
Subseries E. Domestic violence committees and task forces, 1981-circa 1997 (bulk 1987-1993), contains minutes, correspondence, committee reports, notes, and other documents relating to the committee and task force work of various staff and Board members of GABWC. A significant part of this subseries consists of documentation of B. J. Bryson's service on the National Coalition Against Domestic Violence (NCADV) Steering Committee. A second group of papers documents the activities of the Planning Committee of the Southeastern Regional Conference mainly during the late 1980s. For documentation of committee and task force activities relating to legal advocacy and legislation, see also Series I, Subseries B. Folders are arranged alphabetically by folder title.
