Scope and Contents of the Series

Photographic prints and slides, sound recordings, and a videotape make up this series, which is divided into three subseries.

Subseries 1: Photographs. The records included a small photographic collection, possibly collected by or donated to the KNA Historical Committee, consisting of photos of KNA conventions and photographs of military nurses and hospital facilities. Members of the Historical Committee created or collected slides of KNA documents and memorabilia. Other photographs were separated from files in Series IV-IX. Photographs from accession L1978-20 were separated to the Southern Labor Archives Nonprint Collection. See list of separated materials.
Subseries 2: Sound recordings. Sound recordings include KNA board meetings and debates from the American Nurses Association's 1968 convention
Subseries 3: Videotape. A 3/4 inch videotape relates to an ANA meeting in Kentucky, 1987.
