The series includes articles of incorporation; incoming and outgoing correspondence, primarily of the executive secretary; reports to and by the executive secretary; minutes of joint organizations on which the executive secretary and others represented KNA; press releases and publicity materials; and clippings, arranged alphabetically by subject. The series includes both unique subject files and headings that duplicate or are related to activities of KNA committees. The files document both administrative activities (for example, building a new headquarters building) and professional/advocacy activities (for example, lobbying regarding nurse practice legislation). Included in this series are correspondence and notices sent by the executive office to officers, sections, committees, and districts. Notices sent on behalf of officers, committees and other bodies, are filed in the corresponding series.
