Series I, AFL-CIO Materials, 1963-1986, contains correspondence, minutes, agendas, writings, conference materials, and reports concerning official activities of the national organization. Most of this material focuses on civil rights topics, but other AFL-CIO operations are documented as well. The series is divided into four sections: national officers, AFL-CIO departments, statements, and miscellaneous.
