Recording of two meetings of the Executive Board of the Mississippi State AFL-CIO. In this recording, the board discusses organizing at the local level, plan their upcoming meeting locations and agendas, as well as discussing their participation with the Mississippi Economic Council and the resulting press coverage concerns. The second half of the recording is a meeting to discuss taxation legislation regarding public utilities, an ongoing strike, and the political activity of the governor’s office and upcoming legislative materials.
