Scope and Contents
Consists primarily of correspondence of E.T. Kehrer regarding the his opposition to the 1967 official visit of George and Lurleen Wallace to Georgia. Contents include planning correspondence among Atlanta-area labor and civil rights activists to organize opposition to the visit and a letter to Kehrer from an Alabama resident criticizing him for his public remarks against the Wallaces. Also includes publicity materials created in opposition to the visit and newspaper articles on the anti-Wallace campaign.
