Consists of correspondence of E.T. Kehrer with staff of the Southern Regional Council (SRC), primarily with SRC Labor Director Emory Via. Topics include planning for conferences, Kehrer's suggestions for new members of the SRC board, and efforts to direct resources of the SRC and other civil rights organizations towards economic development for poor people and African Americans in the U.S. south.
