Southern Interagency Conference, 1965 - 1967
Scope and Contents
Consists of correspondence and documents related to the Southern Interagency Conference, a meeting series coordinated by the Southern Regional Council (SRC) between different labor, civil rights, and community service organizations active in the U.S. south. Contents include correspondence of E.T. Kehrer with other Conference attendees, minutes of Conference meetings, and Kehrer's notes from Conference meetings. Also includes the transcript of a speech on white liberals given by Lewis M. Killian to Conference attendees and a directory of student volunteer opportunities from the United States National Student Association.
