Scope and Contents
Consists of correspondence of E.T. Kehrer with Ellen Maslow, New York Coordinator for the Poor People's Corporation, a project of the Council of Federated Organizations (COFO) dedicated to helping establish and promote African American business cooperatives. Maslow wrote Kehrer requesting AFL-CIO assistance for the Corporation, and Kehrer directed her to AFL-CIO Civil Rights Department director Don Slaiman. Also includes Poor People's Corporation publicity materials and a catalog of goods.
