Scope and Contents
Consists of a survey conducted by the AFL-CIO Civil Rights Department and the Georgia Council on Human Relations (GCHR) to identify discrimination by the Florida State Employment Service. Members of the GCHR observed and interviewed staff at local offices of the Georgia State Employment Service and reported their findings, including several cases of segregated facilities and discriminatory behavior towards African American clients. Includes surveys from fifteen cities.
