Scope and Contents
Consists of correspondence of E.T. Kehrer with E.D. Mink, Supervisor of the Georgia State Patrol Motor Vehicle Inspection Division, regarding a public statement by Mink that the diversion of State Patrol officers to respond to protests and unrest had led to record fatalities on Georgia highways in 1965. Kehrer wrote to take issue with this statement and request evidence, and Mink responded by providing records.
