Scope and Contents
Consists of correspondence and documents related to a survey carried out by labor and civil rights organizations in Georgia that found violations of the 1964 Civil Rights Act by the Georgia State Employment Service. Includes correspondence of E.T. Kehrer with Secretary of Labor Willard Wirtz and Assistant Secretary of Labor Stanley Ruttenberg on the investigation into Employment Service, discussion of survey tools and metrics for measuring discrimination, and promotional materials collected from the Employment Service.
