Scope and Contents
Consists of correspondence of E.T. Kehrer with staff of the United States Commission on Civil Rights (CCR). Topics include the CCR's participation in projects to promote affirmative action in the textile industry and E.T. Kehrer's activities as a member of the CCR Georgia State Advisory Committee in 1967. Also includes a 1972 statement from the CCR criticizing Richard Nixon's opposition to busing for school integration.
