Contents include correspondence related to the organization and publicity of the initial conference held in June 1974 at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, as well as documents from a July 1974 conference held in Jackson, Mississippi, and an August 1974 conference held in Atlanta, Georgia, organized by E.T. Kehrer and Jean Childs Young.
