Consists primarily of documents related to efforts by the A. Philip Randolph Institute (APRI) and Georgia State AFL-CIO to register voters prior to the 1972 U.S. presidential election, as well as to organize support for Andrew Young's 1972 congressional election campaign. Includes budget documents and summaries of voter registration activity and campaign materials. Also includes 1974 congressional testimony from Bayard Rustin and Norman Hill in support of affirmative action.
