Scope and Content of the Series
Legal case files make up Series II, which documents the complete history of two cases of extended litigation regarding unfair labor practice strikes. The first case involves the International Union of Electrical, Radio and Machine Workers Local 748 versus the Jefferson City (Tennessee) Cabinet Company (a division of the Magnavox Company) (1960-1968). The second case involves the International Typographical Union versus the Dixie Color Printing Corporation in Sylacauga, Alabama (1964-1971).
