The Johnny Mercer "Three Arabian Knights" collection primarily consists of materials related to the never produced musical, "Three Arabian Knights." The collections includes draft lyrics, screenplay, musical script, telegrams from composer Franz Steininger to lyricist Johnny Mercer, and audio reel-to-reel tapes of the songs and CDs of digitized audio from the reel-to-reel tapes. Materials in the collection date from around 1960 to 1969.
