Scope and Contents
Interviewed by Harvey Newman. In this interview, John Ahmann primarily discusses issues concerning budgeting, financing, and the over all business model of the city of Atlanta. He talks about the Atlanta Committee for Progress and it's function in promoting the long term growth of Atlanta, and how critical he considers private sector involvement.

Biographical Note
John Ahmann graduated from Yale in 1993 with a Master's in Public and Private Management, and from there became a program coordinator for the Atlanta Olympic games. He has stayed involved with Atlanta city government since, serving on the Metro Atlanta Chamber, the Atlanta Committe for Progress, and most recently the Westside Future Fund.
