Kevin Henao oral history interview, June 3, 2018

Interviewed by Mirtha Donastorg. In this interview, Kevin Henao briefly describes his parents' early lives and their immigration to New York from Colombia in 1969. He talks about growing up in the Chamblee/Doraville area near Atlanta, and describes the area's shift from a mostly white American population to a mostly immigrant population. He describes childhood memories of time spent with friends and talks about various businesses that operated on the Buford Highway during his time growing up there. Henao discusses moving to Miami as a young adult, where he began his career as a "serial entrepreneur."
