Interviewed by Harvey Newman and Andrea Young. In this interview, Bill Allison dicusses the Office of Economic Opportunity, or Economic Opportunity Atlanta (EOA) and it's members. He begins the interview with quick autobiography, then moves into discussing who the leaders in the EOA were. He discusses the importance of integration and anti-poverty action, in particular around housing concerns.

Biographical Note
William "Bill" Allison was born in Nashville, TN, and moved with his family to Atlanta, GA where he attended high school. He graduated from DePauw University in 1954, then went into the military for 2 years. After returning, he dedicated his life to anit-poverty works, and helped create Economic Opportunity Atlanta, part of the federal Office of Economic Development, in 1967.
