Barbara Robbins oral history interview, January 22, 1998

Interviewed by Chris Paton. Mrs. Robbins covers various topics during this interview, including Marshall Robbins' first acquaintance with Johnny Mercer, the circumstances that led to Mercer hiring Robbins, and the variety of projects that her husband and Mercer worked on. Her discussion frequently turns to Johnny and Ginger Mercer, including their personalities and families, the Robbins' visit to Savannah, Mercer's repayment of his father's debt, the celebration of the Mercer's twenty-fifth anniversary, Johnny Mercer's last illness, and the tributes to Mercer following his death.
