Scope and Contents
Interviewed by Traci Drummond. In this interview, Bob Bax reflects on his career and what it was like for him growing up in Missouri. He speaks on his industrious family upbringing, opportunities from his time competing in high school athletics, and the various jobs he has held throughout his lifetime. He speaks about being drafted into the military and also about working two major disasters involving aircraft before his eventual retirement.

Biographical Note
Bob Bax was born on November 9, 1941 in Kansas City, Missouri where he resides today. He spent the bulk of his career working for Trans World Airlines and for the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers.
