Interviewed by Cal Gough. In this interview, Craig Iverson-Cook describes growing up in Ohio in a conservative, religious family who nevertheless responded positively to his coming out as gay. He talks about his romantic history, particularly his first long-term relationship and his relationship with his late long-term partner, Shawn. Iverson-Cook shares his memories of highlights from various Gay Spirit Visions conferences and offers his thoughts about the future of the conference.

Biographical Note

Craig Iverson-Cook was born and raised in a small town in Ohio. He briefly attended West Virginia University and eventually moved to Atlanta. He began attending Gay Spirit Visions conferences in 1993 and has continued to attend.
