Philip Randolph, 1979; DAILY WORLD from February 1975, with article “Winchester Arms Workers face firm’s runaway plans” and article about Joelle Fishman, CP of Ct. Secretary, appeal to save jobs there; 2 copies of letter from Tom Krajewski, V.P. Administration U.S. Repeating Arms Company, to Louis A. Romano, IAM Lodge 609, dated June 3, 1985 re: press release about preliminary discussions of possible merger with Savage Industries, also announcing additional two week shut down in August—it is turned into a flyer for distribution with the headline, “Another Take Away By the Company”; 2 xeroxes of article by Rita Reutter “The Winchester Family” re: interview with Louis Romano, publication unknown and n.d. but obviously 1985 as refers to August shut down; HARTFORD COURANT article and AFL-CIO newsletter about Yale strike, 1984; copy of union exhibit for arbitration, ca. 1976
