Standard printed contract and transmittal letter: The contract is dated June 29, 1967, between April Music Inc., and Morton Stevens and Johnny Mercer assigning rights to "Tomorrow Never Comes" (From the "Cimarron Strip" - CBS-TV Series). The printed form used is the "1947 Revised Uniform Popular Songwriters Contract." The contract assigns copyright of the song to April Music Inc. for 28 years. The contract is for publication rights. Signatures on last page are of David Rosner, April Music Inc., 1650 Broadway, New York, N.Y. 10019; Johnny Mercer, 10972 Chalon Rd., Los Angeles, Calif.; and Morton Stevens, 16883 Severo Pl., Encino, Calif.; and is countersigned for the American Guild of Authors & Composers by James F. de Barros, August 11, 1967. Transmittal letter dated August 11, 1967, is signed by Miriam Stern, Executive Director, American Guild of Authors and Composers, and addressed to "Mr. John H. Mercer, c/o Vernon D. Wood, 2018 N. Vine St., Hollywood, Calif."
