ASCAP and Commander Publications contract, 30 November 1965

Standard printed contract (ASCAP 1966-1975 30M 7-65): "Agreement Between John H. Mercer, doing business as Commander Publications, and American Society of Composers, Authors & Publishers [. . .]." Stamped after Rec'd: "Nov 3 1965." The contracted was signed November 30, 1965 in ink by "John H. Mercer" and printed signature of Stanley Adams, president of ASCAP. With this contract, Mercer grants to the Society the right to license non-dramatic public performances of all works Commander Publications has rights to. The terms of the contract run from January 1, 1966 to December 31, 1975. The distribution of royalty payments is not made explicit in this contract, but is included in the Society's "Articles of Association" (not included in this contract).
