Biographical Note

Mickey Steinberg was born in 1933 in Augusta, Georgia. In 1959, he went into business with a professor from Georgia Tech, designing and building concrete structures. With his outstanding record, he was hired by John Portman and Associates in Atlanta. After twenty years with Portman, he went to the Disney Company and led the Imagineering Division that built the Paris Disney Park. He later retired from Disney, returning to working with Portman.
