Biographical Note
Marva Jones Brooks was born on November 24, 1939 in Pennsylvania, and graduated Harvard with a JD in 1968. She has been practicing law in the state of Georgia since 1974, specializing in municiple and governmental law. She was the Associate General Counsel for the Atlanta Committee for the Olympic Games (1991-1997) and the City Attorney for the City of Atlanta (1980-1990).
