Scope and Content of the Series
This series contains personal papers of both Emma Kelly and Johnny Mercer. Emma Kelly has an extensive family history that is well documented and genealogically interesting. Johnny Mercer, along with his brothers George and Walter, are the main subjects of some Mercer family papers that were found with Emma Kelly's collection.
The series is divided into two subseries: A. Kelly family and B. Mercer family.
