Scope and Contents

Interviewed by Schaune Griffin. In this interview, Rizky Etika discusses the evolution of her political consciousness and talks about the political activities she has engaged in since she was a high schooler. She discusses her and her family members' experiences as Muslim immigrants to the United States, and expresses her worries about immigration in the current political climate. She talks about her experience at the Women's March on Washington, and expresses optimism about the future in spite of her concerns about immigration and xenophobia.

Biographical Note

Rizky Etika was born in 1997 in Indonesia. She currently studies art history and business at Emory University, and is employed by WonderRoot, an nonprofit arts organization in Atlanta.
