Interviewed by Morna Gerrard. In this interview, Janie Brodhead discusses her perspective on the election of Donald Trump and its influence on her decision to participate in the Women's March in Washington, D.C. She also describes her experience of the march and her specific motivations for attending. Finally, Brodhead offers advice to future marchers and explains her hopes for a more positive and united country.

Biographical Note
Janie Brodhead was born in Portland, Or. in 1954. As the daughter of fundamentalist missionaries, Brodhead grew up in Oregon, Nigeria and eventually Georgia, where she settled and became a teacher. She currently runs a natural food store with her husband in Savannah, Ga.
