Scope and Contents
Interviewed by Kathryn Michaelis. In this interview, Caroline Evans discusses her experience at the Atlanta March for Social Justice and Women, which she attended with her six-year-old son, Jack, and a group of their friends. Caroline discusses her experience at the march, including signs she enjoyed, keeping up with her son, and the emotional impact the march had on her. She also talks about the issues that motivated her to attend the march and to stay politically active since the end of the march, which she has done by calling legislators and volunteering for a local congressional candidate. Caroline expresses optimism for the future tempered with concern for the direction that she sees the country taking under the Trump administration. Jack briefly discusses his impressions of the march.

Biographical Note
Caroline Evans was born in 1975 in Fort Lauderdale, Fla. and grew up in Crystal River, Fla. She owns Blue Cypress Consulting, a firm that consults on community planning, land use, and GIS projects. Caroline lives in Decatur, Ga. with her husband and two children. Jack Evans was born in 2010 in Seattle, Wash. He attends the Museum School in Avondale Estates, Ga. Caroline Evans is Jack's mother.
