Scope and Contents
Interviewed by Cyndi Carpentieri. In this interview, Amber Brannon discusses her family's and her own political leanings. She talks about her experiences at the Atlanta March for Social Justice and Women, including seeing John Lewis, feeling like part of something bigger than herself, and her interactions with other marchers. She connects the women's marches to other activist efforts like Black Lives Matter and talks about the role of privilege in activism. Brannon expresses strong disapproval of Donald Trump and his policy actions. She discusses her hopes and fears for the future under his administration.

Biographical note
Amber Brannon was born in 1977 in Douglasville, Ga. She grew up in rural Georgia and currently lives in Atlanta, where she works as a corporate administrator.
