Scope and Contents
Interviewed by Erica Hague. In this interview, Tracy Brisson and Josh Nichols discuss the Women's March that happened in Savannah on January 21, 2017, for which Tracy obtained the permit. They discuss the two separate groups in Savannah that planned rallies and eventually came together for a march. Brisson describes the process of obtaining the permit, which she began only 72 hours before the march took place. They talk about social media and its impact on the Savannah march as well as its influence on political discourse. They both talk about their role as new parents and describe their hopes and fears for the future.
