Interviewed by Schaune Griffin. In this interview, Levens discusses growing up in Texas in a predominantly Democratic area. She describes her moves from Texas to Florida and then to Georgia. Levens expresses that throughout her adult life, she has remained politically active through volunteer work. In this interview, she speaks about the Clayton, Ga. rally and her hopes for Democrats in future local elections.

Biographical Note

Jane Levens was born in Texas in 1931. She grew up in a Democratic family. She became politically active during John F. Kennedy's presidential campaign and has remained relatively active since. She spoke at the Clayton, Ga. rally supporting the Women's March in 2018.
