Interviewed by Andrew Reisinger. In this interview, Roger Friedman talks about the culture of the Great Speckled Bird and the content of the paper. He also talks about the various activist organizations and demonstrations he has been involved in and discusses various aspects of his law career. Friedman ends the interview by discussing his values and his current worldview.

Biographical Note:

Roger Friedman was born January 4, 1946 in the District of Columbia. He later attended college at Brown University. He went on to work for the Extra newspaper, where he wrote stories and helped with layout. In 1970, Friedman moved to Atlanta, where he lived with a few members of the Great Speckled Bird staff. Friedman soon began working for The Bird, taking on various roles such as managing editor and advertising editor.
