Scope and Contents of the Papers

The Elaine Taylor-Klaus papers consist of correspondence, phone logs, meeting agendas, minutes, pins, nametags, videos, as well as pamphlets and brochures from 1989-2007. Elaine Taylor-Klaus advocated for women's reproductive rights and founded Vote Choice, a Georgia PAC, in 1990, she served as a Board member of Planned Parenthood of Georgia (PPG), and she was heavily involved in the Governor's Council of Maternal and Infant Health from 2001-2007. Of particular note is the meeting agendas and minutes of the Governor's Council on Maternal and Infant Health that were held in various cities in Georgia including: Augusta, Albany, Columbus, Savannah, and Atlanta.
