Scope and Content Note of the Series
The Inactive Local Union series contains information about inactive unions, both the United States and Canada between 1958-1996. Materials include charter certification, legal matters, strikes, and mergers agreements, correspondence. The folders are arranged by the number of the union and the information is generally arranged from the most recent date to the earliest. It should be noted that not all of the local unions in this collection have extensive information. Material in this series arrived as part of accession L2002-02.
