Scope and Content of the Series
This series is divided into two subseries, documenting training and workshops orchestrated by the Commission and other workshops and seminars attended by Commission members. GCFV organizes numerous workshops in order to educate law enforcement, legislative, legal and medical professionals on the realities of domestic violence and ways to conscientiously intervene. Workshop subject matter includes lobby training, interacting with the media, child endangerment in domestic violence cases and the implementation of community accountability frameworks. Included within the series are training manuals, presentation materials, meeting minutes, legislative and legal documents and other printed materials.
