Scope and Contents of the Sub-Series
Part II, Series 2: Financial Records, 1920-1970, constitutes the bulk of Part II of the records of the APSTA/AEA. Series 2 includes check stubs, 1920-1970; bank account deposit slips, 1938-1970; check stubs, 1931-1955, and deposit slips, 1943-1950, and bank statements, 1945-1962, for the APSTA's Relief Fund; bank statements, including cancelled checks, 1940-1970; deposit receipts returned from the bank for deposits to the main checking account, 1955-1965; dues payments arranged by name of elementary school in first part and by name of high school and junior high schools in second part; and a dues ledger for the years 1935-1937. The Series is completed by a small group of files which contain travel expenses, treasurers and auditors reports, budget data, and insurance policies.
