Prominent Local 8 correspondents are Presidents J.D. Harp, Alton Wood, and William Stephens, and Secretary-Treasurers H.L. Mette and Albert Jones. Major topics are financial affairs, underwriting contracts, jurisdiction and raiding, status promotions of union members, International elections, and training programs. There is also correspondence with various Atlanta printing companies, particularly those belonging to the Union Employing Printers, Printing Industry of Atlanta, concerning negotiating and renewing contracts, manning specifications, and grievances.
