Scope and Contents of the Series
Planned Parenthood's efforts to educate the public and shape opinion are documented in the Media and Publicity series, 1973-2010, which largely consists of printed material. The series contains advertisements created and provided by Planned Parenthood Federation of America to its affiliates, and numerous press releases, position papers, a report on communications and talking points documenting Planned Parenthood's stance on local and national issues. The series contains some information on local media gathered by the organization.
